With the Super Bowl coming to the New York area for the very first time, we here at McFarlane Toys thought something big should be done to commemorate the occasion.
We decided that releasing the debut figure of Hall of Fame Jets quarterback JOE NAMATH was pretty huge.
Then we believed adding an ELI MANNING figure, capturing the NY Giants QB in his first Super Bowl victory where he was named MVP, wearing a patch from Super Bowl XLII, was pretty impressive…But we still wanted more.
What’s bigger than releasing figures of two of the most iconic and accomplished quarterbacks in New York football history into Toys “R” US? How about releasing our founder and comic legend, Todd McFarlane, into the Toys”R”Us Times Square location for an exclusive signing!
Here are all the details for this upcoming event.
TODD MCFARLANE SIGNING AT TOYS “R” US TIMES SQUARE
SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 1, 11 AM – 2 PM
TOYS “R” US TIMES SQUARE | 1514 BROADWAY | NEW YORK, NY
On Saturday, February 1st, Todd will be making a special appearance at Toys”R”Us Times Square, located on 44th Street, along the 13-block stretch of “Super Bowl Boulevard.” The first 400 fans to purchase either the Joe Namath or Eli Manning figure at the Times Square location will receive a ticket to meet Todd and get his autograph* during this special signing.
To obtain a ticket, customers must bring the eligible receipt to the Personal Shopping department, located on Level Two. All tickets are available while supplies last.
*Items eligible for the one autograph include any personal memorabilia or Toy”R”Us purchased item.
Even if you can’t make it to Times Square, both the Joe Namath Legends figure and the Eli Manning Super Bowl figure are available at Toys”R”Us stores nationwide and online at on Toysrus.com.
