After graduating 29 years ago, Todd McFarlane is heading back to his alma mater next month as the Eastern Washington University’s guest speaker during its Commencement weekend this June 14-15. As a special treat for all you west coast fans, McFarlane’s speaking engagement on Friday, June 14, is open to the public and includes a limited edition comic and signing.

From his humble beginnings at Eastern Washington University to budding baseball player to comic book artist and business entrepreneur extraordinaire, Todd McFarlane has a wealth of experience in the world of entertainment. Hear from the Spawn creator as he returns to the Northwest for this special speaking and autograph engagement.
The event is open to the public and an autograph session will follow. Admission to this special speaking engagement is $15 (includes a highly limited edition Spawncomic book with E.W.U. McFarlane will also be the keynote speaker during the 2 p.m. Commencement ceremony on Saturday, June 15, for students in the College of Science, Health and Engineering and the College of Arts, Letters and Education. This event is not open to the public.
