The Most Valuable Player of Super Bowl 50, linebacker Von Miller of the Denver Broncos also shared the highest rating of 99 in Madden NFL 17. Following up his Super Bowl winning season, Miller continued his excellent play in 2016 with 62 solo tackles and 13.5 sacks on the year.

Boasting one of the higher rookie ratings of 76 in Madden NFL 17, quarterback Carson Wentz was the second overall pick by the Philadelphia Eagles in the 2016 NFL Draft. In his first NFL season, Wentz threw for over 3,000 yards with 16 touchdown passes, and broke the NFL record for most pass completions by a rookie quarterback with 379.

In the first five seasons of his career, Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson has been selected to three Pro Bowls, and led the Seahawks to a Super Bowl XLVIII victory. With a Madden NFL 17 rating of 91, Wilson threw for over 4,000 yards and 21 touchdowns in 2016.

The Cincinnati Bengals’ 4th overall pick in the 2011 NFL Draft, wide receiver AJ Green held a Madden NFL 17 rating of 93. Despite his 2016 season being cut short due to injury, Green still racked up nearly 1,000 receiving yards while bringing in four touchdowns, and was named to his sixth consecutive NFL Pro Bowl.

Carrying a Madden NFL 17 overall rating of 91, Larry Fitzgerald had one of the best seasons of his Hall of Fame career in 2016. The Arizona Cardinals franchise leader in receiving yards and receiving touchdowns hauled in six touchdowns and had over 1,000 receiving yards last season.
