What was the hardest McFarlane Toy to find in your collection? Spawn from Image 10th Anniversary

What was the most valuable McFarlane Toy in your collection? For me is Spawn from Spawn the Movie

How big is your McFarlane Toys collection? Not Big Enough

Where do you display your collection? At all over my room. In my home here in Spain and in my home in Mexico. I would like to say that . My collection has been separated because I moved from Mexico to Spain when I was 13 so I [have] half the half here and the half there. The pictures I attached are from my room here in Spain.

What is one toy or brand you wish McFarlane Toys would RE-MAKE? Spawn/ Movie Maniacs

What is one toy or brand you wish McFarlane Toys would produce? An Anniversary toy of Spawn from Spawn The Movie. With cape. Statue or toy in the way of the 10th anniversary Spawn.

What is one McFarlane Toy you want but don’t have in your collection? Spawn VII

If you were an action figure, what accessories would you come with? My mask could put in and out, and I will have a lot of weapons. kind a like Spawn IV but with removable mask.

Why did you start collecting McFarlane Toys?

I bought my first comic book [at] the age of 6 and it was Spawn’s number 7th in Mexico. In the back of the comic was a announcement of Spawn the movie. So I beg to my mom to take me. I watched the film and it impressed me so much. So I went to Walmart and I saw they were selling the Spawn toys. They were from series 1 till the movie. I saw all those colors. It was so hard to choose one so I [chose] the Curse of Spawn and went home. Then months past and I were trying so hard to look for more, but back in mexico was pretty hard to find the McFarlane line… so It was very exciting every time I could find one. I was so obsessed with Spawn and then I met Movie Maniacs. Then I knew… I had become a collector.

I may add that I know I’m living in another country and I really don’t know how this selection is going to work or even if the department is going to read this mail. But I really want to say thanks to Mr. McFarlane and not just him, but the artists of McFarlane toys. Spawn the movie, was for me the greatest thing ever : I [fell] in love. I felt in love with movies , the special effects embraced my heart. Since then I realised that my dream was to become a filmmaker. And now with 24 I completed part of that dream directing my first feature film with a decent budget(150,000.00 Euros I know it’s bad to talk about money, but for an independent filmmaker of my age and in the city and country that I live is a lot) and it’s in some way thanks to him. he made me felt in love with my profession… he is my inspiration. Not just as an artist but as a visionary and entrepreneur so I continue my journey. My film is not in the classic scifi style. But it has a lot of the McFarlane influence as I say. Thanks to Spawn I met Shakespeare, William Blake and other great writers. Also I knew which films to watch( movie maniacs series was my guide) . So Thank you Todd McFarlane and McFarlane toys.
