What is your favorite McFarlane Construction Set? I like the prison cells, as they seem like they could be an endless build. You could keep adding on to them and make a pretty impressive display.

Also, Dale’s RV is really well done and looks like a great set to own.

What was the hardest McFarlane Toy to find in your collection? The “T. Mcfarlane” signed Urizen figure along with the black signature Urizen.

What was the most valuable McFarlane Toy in your collection? Same as above. The Urizen figure signed with “T. McFarlane”. I believe there are only 10 made, same with the black signature. Either that or the Clear Blue Necro Spawn chase figure.

How big is your McFarlane Toys collection? Very. I collected nearly everything other than sports from 1994-2009 when the Spawn line stopped. I collected some Halo here and there but not complete at all. I also have complete sets of all the other lines McF put out back then… Monsters, Matrix, Terminator, Metal Gear, etc. although I don’t have room to display them all sadly.

Where do you display your collection? My wife was gracious enough to let me have the entire basement to display my collection in. She is a big collector of My Little Pony and has a room or two upstairs for her stuff. But the basement is all mine.

What is one toy or brand you wish McFarlane Toys would RE-MAKE? Spawn. I would love for McFarlane to bring back some Spawn figures. (Series 36 please) As for remaking another companies properties, it would be cool to see McFarlane’s take on some Star Wars items.

What is one toy or brand you wish McFarlane Toys would produce? A line of INVINCIBLE figures. Robert Kirkman’s Invincible comic is just filled with characters begging to be made into figures.

Aside from that, anything else from Image Comics. I would love a retro line of characters from the upstart of Image that never had figures made.

What is one McFarlane Toy you want but don’t have in your collection? Toy wise I have everything I’m really after I think. The one thing my collection is sorely missing is a drawing or sketch of Spawn from Todd himself. I collect a lot of original art pages from Spawn, but since he doesn’t sell any I have none from him. The couple times I’ve met him at a convention, for one reason or another getting a quick Spawn sketch was never in the cards. Hopefully one day I’ll run into him again and he will do me a quick Spawn head sketch for my collection.

Other than that, I’d love for the Spawn series 35 & 36 lines to finally be released, or be able to get some prototypes of them for my collection. I’ve also yet to get the European or Australian versions of the Curse of the Spawn statue.

If you were an action figure, what accessories would you come with? A marker or drawing tablet of some sort, a big gun, and a board with a nail in it. ;p

Why did you start collecting McFarlane Toys? I was always into drawing and art as a kid. When I was 15 a friend of mine sold me a shoe box of comics which included several of Todd’s Spider-man issues and the first 4 issues or so of Spawn. From that moment on I was hooked. I bought anything and everything that Image Comics and Todd put out. A couple years later the first wave of Spawn figures came out, I bought them and never looked back. That box of comics started my collecting bug.
