AMC’s 'The Walking Dead' Building Sets Are Here!!!

The wait is over…McFarlane Toys’ The Walking Dead building sets and figures are now available exclusively at Toys “R” Us stores nationwide and online at Toysrus.com.

Announced in July, these new brick building toys, based on television’s most watched drama, AMC’s The Walking Dead, extends McFarlane’s high standards of artistic vision, realistic accuracy and incredible detail into the brick building toy aisle alongside of other leading manufacturers. The brick building line features realistic sculpts, light-up and shaped features, iconic environments, and dozens of your fan-favorite characters and walkers.

Now put on your building hat, grab your favorite walker-dispatching weapon, and let’s take a look at the first series of The Walking Dead building sets!

THE GOVERNOR’S ROOM

The charismatic leader of the seemingly utopian town of Woodbury, The Governor appears stern, but just. But beneath his well-meaning façade is a man with dark intentions and even darker secrets. Disillusioned by the apocalypse, The Governor refuses to let go of his turned daughter, Penny. To hide his darkest secret The Governor escapes to a concealed lair, where he relishes in the death and destruction of this dismal new world. The Governor’s Room set includes hardwood floors with two walls, light up base to illuminate the nine fish tanks encasing walker heads, cage, leather chair, end table with lamp, two woven baskets, bucket of body parts, The Governor and Penny. The set, in total, is 292 pieces.

DARYL DIXON WITH CHOPPER

Fan-favorite Daryl Dixon is a lone wolf survivalist who has proven time and again to be a vital sentinel for Rick Grimes and his group in an unpredictable and perilous apocalyptic world. This building set showcases Daryl Dixon and his iconic chopper motorcycle as they travel down the Walker infested I-85 highway. The Daryl with Chopper building set includes a highly detailed replica of Daryl’s chopper, roadside base with highway guardrail, road sign, customizable weeds, Daryl and Walker. The set, in total, is 154 pieces.

FIVE FIGURE PACK

PRISON TOWER & GATE

Before the zombie apocalypse, prison was a place where freedom was taken; but for Glenn and the rest of the Atlanta survivors, it’s the place that restores their sense of freedom and safety from the hordes of the undead. Once cleared, the survivors find respite in the abandoned cell blocks. But this is short lived, and the survivors quickly discover that Walkers are not the only threat to their new way of life. The Governor has his eyes set on their most prized possession and won’t stop until it’s in his control or he’s completely destroyed it for everyone. The Prison Tower & Gate set includes the iconic guard tower, shed, barbed wire fence, gate, light post, weeds, discarded filing cabinet, Glenn Rhee, Female Herd Walker, and Crawler Walker. The set, in total, is 620 pieces and will be available this November at Toys ‘R’ Us.
