He strictly trained his son, Shoto Todoroki, since early childhood to be a hero greater than All Might, but conflict arose among the family. Reflecting on himself after All Might’s retirement, he pledged to become a hero that Shoto and his family would be proud of.

All Might, the Greatest hero, also called the symbol of Peace. He was just injured in a past battle, leaving him unable to function as a hero except for a limited time. His Quirk, One For All, has been passed on him and nurtured, and he is also able to pass it on himself, later passing it on to Deku.
All for One once was Japan’s most powerful villain and All Might’s arch-nemesis, his true motives are unclear, and his true identity is unknown. His current goal is to raise Tomura Shigaraki to become his eventual successor.
