The Clippers turned in their best-ever season in 2005-06, and plenty of credit goes to All-Star forward Elton Brand. The Clippers’ best player turned in his best season, scoring a career-high 24.7 points-per-game. Not only did the Clippers come within one game of the Western Conference Finals in their deepest playoff run ever, but they also eclipsed the Lakers to become the best basketball team in Los Angeles.
