Since I know you good people like Spider-Man (comic book), I have a COOL #waybackwednesday story to share.
Back in the day, Marvel needed a new logo to put in the left -hand corner above the issue number and they asked ME to create one using Spidey!
So when Amazing Spiderman came out (I can’t remember which issue…maybe some of YOU know), they used THAT in the corner hanging down from the marvel logo.
AND Spider-Man kinda became their marquee so you can find the hanging Spidey on OTHER Marvel book, which was pretty AWESOME!!
Below is some of the rough art with my notes AND one of the finished covers with the final logo.
