Toddfather’s Advice For the Day!

I’ve been seeing a lot of comments on Facebook saying, ‘Todd…I’ll never be as good as you’. BUT here’s the reality…you won’t ever get better unless you do TWO things:
 
1. KEEP DRAWING- If the ONLY time you pick up a drawing tool is after one of my LIVE drawings, then you’ll NEVER get better! It’s about EVERY DAY practice!!
 
2. GET YOUR WORK SEEN- If you want to get better…GET FEEDBACK. It’s hard to have your work critiqued, but if you are the only one that sees it, then how are you going to know what is good about it AND what you can improve on??
 
Here’s some of MY early sketches and as you can see…my style has changed…a lot and PRACTICING AND FEEDBACK made that happen.
