The answer is simple….
I’M LEFT HANDED!
If you ask most left-handed people, they will tell you that one of the drawbacks of being a ‘southpaw’ during our school years, is that everyone writes from left to right on a piece of paper.
For us LEFTIES, it means we rub our hand across EVERY WORD we write. And if we are using a soft pencil, we can actually rub and smear the paper as we continue going across the paper every time we have to start on the left side of that paper.
So I got used to drawing my heads to the RIGHT so I didn’t smear the paper (so much).
But now with DIGITAL, I obviously don’t smear the paper, BUT it’s a HABIT to draw my sketches facing right.
Now you know!!
