TODD TIPS TUESDAY…
I’ve been working away at Spawn 259 inking over Erik Larsen‘s SEXY pencils!!
It’s been EXCITING to be working on the interior pages of a book again (I know you guys are just as excited). BUT like always…it’s HARD WORK! Even I still have to discipline myself to sit and work on pages a EVERY day.
We are ALL busy on a day to day basis (I know I am with family, being a CEO and of course… baseball), but being part of a monthly comic, you HAVE to make a conscious effort to sit down and DRAW! Even when there is something else more fun to do. You HAVE to find what works for YOU to stay focused. There are days I have to come in EXTRA early to the office and STAY when everyone has gone home.
Personally, I close my door and as you know… put on Rose’s Theme from Titanic on loop and just DRAW!!
Anyways…since I haven’t shown any Spawn art in a while, here is a EARLY sneak peek at a few pages of the upcoming issue as I’m in the process of inking!!
