THROWBACK THURSDAY!!
It’s been a while since you good people have seen this and for some of you… you might not know WHAT this is!!
The short version of the story is this…back in Spawn issue ONE, the power meter was created as a numbering system to showed when Spawn depleted necroplasmic energy (that green glowing goo that you see coming off Spawn). It was exciting to think about where he would end up if he ever hit EMPTY since there was a clear limit on his power.
As the story progressed, Al realized his energy was draining TOO fast. So, he resorted to his military assassin training to outsmart his enemies. AND if you’ve seen some SEXY weapons Spawn resorted to (those BIG ASS GUNS).. it was to preserve his necroplasm (and I think he did a pretty good job)!!
Anyways… if Spawn’s meter ever hit ZERO, he would DIE…BUT as you all know, he’s still ALIVE AND KICKIN’.
