How many of you good people remember THIS cover of Marvel The Amazing Spider-Man??
If you dig up old (and I mean old) 1960’s and 70’s versions of Hydro-Man, the drawing of water seemed more like OATMEAL than water (and that’s a HUGE difference).
Water is supposed to be translucent, fragile and small…it’s something you can’t hold, but it WASN’T being done that way. So when I drew the water, I tried to make it more REALISTIC.
And if you look at the cover, I’ve noodled (my FAVORITE way to do things) the crap out of it so it looks more see-through and splashy.
