I was at Emerald City Comicon a few weeks back and an awesome fan gave me this photograph from 1988!
This was one of the FEW shop appearances I did back in the day and it was pretty early on in my career. I liked to do conventions more than shop appearances (and still do) because I get to meet MORE of YOU AMAZING fans !
Besides the killer perm and striped peach shirt (which I have somewhere in my closest still…don’t tell my wife), lots of you are looking at the originalMarvel Spider-Man art hanging all around me.
Now I KNOW this is going to make some of you good people cringe, but at the time I was selling these ORIGINAL art pieces for around $100-$500 depending on the page (yup…you heard right).
I have a couple left… I’ll have to dig them out and show them to you!
