YES…I STILL DRAW!!
I’ve been getting A LOT of comments and questions again asking me, “Why I don’t draw anymore”.
Look it…I get this question ALL the time. Just because I’m not drawing an entire monthly comic book doesn’t mean I NOT drawing.
The FUNNIEST thing about that question is that for the last few months I HAVE been inking an entire (well almost entire) comic book. Erik Larsen and I have been collaborating on Spawn since issue 258!!
But when it’s not a comic book, it’s to show one of our toy designers how one of our toys is supposed to be posed or it’s an off piece of art…usually a really COOL monster head I’ve cooked up in my mind.
To answer another question I get all of the time…YES, I DO just doodle for myself. It takes me back to that kid in school playing sports by day and doodling by night.
I LOVE to draw…and I’m LUCKY to have the opportunity to do what I love for a living.
AND you NEVER know what I’ll come up with in this coming year…2016 is a year of possibilities!
