IS THE POWER METER COMING BACK???
With Spawn issue 300 approaching, I thought it would be a good idea to revisit this!
Back in Spawn issue ONE, the power meter was created as a numbering system to show when Spawn depleted necroplasmic energy (that green glowing goo you see coming off Spawn). It was exciting to think about where he would end up if he ever hit EMPTY since there was a clear limit on his power.
As the story progressed, Al realized his energy was draining TOO fast. So, he resorted to his military assassin training to outsmart his enemies. AND if you’ve seen some SEXY weapons Spawn resorted to (those BIG ASS GUNS).. it was to preserve his necroplasm.
Anyways… if Spawn’s meter ever hit ZERO, he would DIE…BUT as you all know, he’s still ALIVE AND KICKIN’.
So that being said….what are your PREDICTIONS on the power meter COMING BACK in issue 300?!?!
