Hello True Believers!!! Some of you might be here from STAN’S social media channels, so first, let me WELCOME you to my little place on the internet called Toddfather Talk… where… you guessed it…. I talk about toys, comics and today: STAN THE MAN!
Since I HACKED Stan’s social channels for a few days (he should think of BETTER passwords than ‘Excelsior’)…I wanted to share with you on what I learned from Stan.
Now…I wouldn’t say that in all my meetings with Stan, he ever said anything “MAGICAL,”but the BEST advice I ever got from Stan Lee was WATCHING him interact with his fans!!
SEEING how he made everyone feel IMPORTANT in the 20 to 30 seconds he had with them (at a signing, convention or wherever) truly WAS magical. His generosity and Stan smile was NEVER an act… it was ALWAYS GENUINE!
Stan knew in that short burst of time he had to give EVERYTHING he could to his fans. AND THEN “reset” for the next person in line and so on… He would do this thousands of times in just one day and was genuine every single second.
He is impressive. When I first met him… he made ME feel important, and I know he does the same for every single one of you (if you’ve had the chance to meet him!).
As a young kid, he was one of my inspirations…I said that if I get on the other side of the table, I want to act JUST like THAT!!
I want to leave my fans feeling GOOD… not frustrated or rushed. And, I hope that I get to meet every single one of you reading this post someday.
Let’s all take a lesson from Stan Lee… and treat EVERYONE with kindness.
