GOING SPIDER-HUNTING!!!
 
When Marvel ended up adding a fourth Spider-Man book to the three already being published, that is when I FINALLY got the chance to do some writing! Although I thought it was a little foolish to give a BRAND NEW Spidey book to a rookie, but I said, “Cool”.
 
So not only did I get a NEW writing gig, but I STILL had the opportunity to continue to DRAW Spider-Man as well.
 
Anyways… back when I was on ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’, I’d draw small spiders on some of the covers and put the number either next to or under my name in the signature box.
 
But for my FIRST cover as a writer AND artist, I wasn’t exactly sure how many would be on the final cover. If I drew them in certain areas, they might get cut off by printing or covered up by the logo. So I just drew a LOT of spiders and left it to the reader to count and figure out.
 
I wonder if you good people know exactly how many spiders are on that cover?!
