HAPPY FRIDAY FOLKS!!
I thought it would be fun to show you some of my VERY EARLY work back when I started at DC Comics. Looking at this (or any of my early work), I always see how I could’ve IMPROVED on it!
Looking back on early work can show you how far you’ve come AND how far you still need to go. As artists, we are always critiquing our own work, but (as I constantly am saying), show your work to others in the industry. Ask what you need to improve on. It may be a hard thing to hear, but how else are you going to improve????
What’s even better (especially now), is there’s this thing called the internet and social media. The outreach to finding people to look at your work is endless!
So, get those pencils, pens, paints, chalk or whatever and start drawing!!
