I don’t know if I’ve ever shared these pages OR this story with you folks.
Back when I decided to leave DC Comics and go over to Marvel, I started working for an editor by the name of Bob Harras who gave me an issue of ‘Spitfire and the Troubleshooters’ (remember THAT comic).
He wanted to see if I could handle a deadline and not only THAT, the one he gave me was HALF my NORMAL deadline! The target date was 10 days, but because as I’ve said MANY TIMES before, a deadline is just as important (if not more) than the art, I finished the book in only FIVE DAYS!
Proving that I could handle it, he gave me an issue of Daredevil (issue 241) and then a longer stint on ‘The Incredible Hulk’.
The below pages are my FIRST on ‘Incredible Hulk’!
