DON’T take ‘NO’ for an answer!!!
If I would have stopped at the first, second or 350th ‘NO’… who knows what I’d be doing know!
When I was trying to break into the comic book industry to work for publishers like Marvel and DC Comics…. I had sent over 700 submissions and got HUNDREDS of rejection letters. HUNDREDS!!!!
What’s ironic is that even while I was beginning my career with Marvel (and was actually working for them)…. I was STILL getting rejection letters from various other Marvel editors who had received the SAME ‘Coyote’ sample that you see here. It’s funny because those editors told me that I’d never work for their company with the art that I had submitted.
So moral of the story is that the ‘NO’s’ don’t matter… the one YES does!!!!
