Hey gang:
Wanted to give you a little of my thought process behind our new THE WALKING DEAD Construction sets. As you can see below, I have taken a bunch of UPPER and LOWER PRISON CELLS and connected them together. Since we didn’t want to put out a big, expensive item that would cost a lot of money, we instead are selling each of the Prison Cells separately (around $12 each) so that you can decide on what makes the most sense for you. But the way that I had invisioned it in my mind when we were designing it, is that you could get an UPPER Cell and stack that on top of a BOTTOM Cell. Then if you repeated that method you could continue to stack and connect to make a long hallway of cells.
The photo below shows an example of what it might look like if you put a bunch of Prison Cells together and eventually attached them to the CATWALK set coming out later this year. As many of you know, this was the back drop for a couple of years for the human characters in AMC’s The WALKING DEAD television series.
Also, we are making a lot of human and Walker (zombie) figures in blind bags that you can also pick up to fill out this scen so that you can make it as quiet or scary a scene as you wish. I know a lot of you folks have BIG imaginations out there and are quite creative, so I will be doing a FAN FEATURE soon with builds and collections form you…the true stars of this website. Stay tuned for more details.
Below you can see some of the items separated. Remember, the upper and lower are sold as two different items and they come with different figures. Each box comes with a figure, but there are two different figures (one per box) for the upper and two figures (one per box) for the lower. I did this so that those of you that wanted to buy more than one set could get get up to 4 different figures.
