The BEST Gifts are the Ones We Already Have Right in Front of Us!!!

August 02, 2016

Just wanted to take a moment away from all the artistic stuff and talk about the thing that is really the most important gift to us, which is the people we are surrounded by. No matter what is happening at work, I can always lean on the comforting thought that I have been given a great wife and family and friends (and fans!) that will always be more than any success or failures in my career.

I understand that not everyone is able to find the same peacefulness that I can, which makes me even more grateful for those I have in my live. If i could, I’d wave a magic wand and let all people find the happiness that you all deserve.

I write this because in the past few days I was able to celebrate my 31st anniversary with my high school sweetheart, who is the most giving woman I could imagine being in my life. And after 31 years of marriage I can’t wait for the next 31 with her.

I also celebrated my oldest daughter’s birthday and sent her off to Israel again today where she will begin her third year in med school. To see you children grow into very kind and compassionate adults is also very heart-warming for any parent.

Just wanted to take this time to say, that maybe the best things in life are already in front of us and all the other stuff is just distracting us from being more aware of that.

Be well.
