Below is my FIRST amateur inking attempt. I was doing my best to imitate the TALENTED George Pérez who was drawing Marvel ‘Fantastic Four’ at the time.
Anyways… I liked the look of his technology kind of stuff which you can see I tried to copy with the the edge of the door on the page below.
I planned on doing a whole wall like that, but gave up after realizing how LONG it was going to take me.
Since it was my first attempt at inking, I was making SILLY mistakes I think EVERYONE (and I mean EVERYONE) makes, including using a rapidograph pen (a fancy inking pen) instead of a brush or proper inking tool.
So LONG story short…you gotta start somewhere.
