ULTIMA ONLINE: LORD BLACKTHORN’S REVENGE
Online gaming -- multiple players on a computer network playing real-time games via modem connections -- has progressed to the mainstream. Everyone's playing and Ultima Online, with hundreds of thousands of active players, has set the standard for online multiplayer role-playing worlds. The new Ultima universe takes online role-playing to the next level and features several characters designed by McFarlane Toys founder Todd McFarlane. The associated game, Ultima Online: Lord Blackthorn's Revenge, is slated for a February 2002 release. |
