"Sleepy Hollow's" Depp Gets Star on Walk of Fame

McFarlane Toys was in the house Nov. 16 when Johnny Depp was honored with the 2,149th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The star unveiling took place at 7018 Hollywood Boulevard on the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel property. Johnny Grant, Honorary Mayor of Hollywood and Chairman of the Walk of Fame committee, presided over the event and Leron Gubler, president of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, spoke on behalf of the organization. Also participating in the ceremony were "Sleepy Hollow" director Tim Burton and actor Martin Landau; both spoke of Depp's achievements as an actor, a friend and their newest film together, "Sleepy Hollow." McFarlane Toys' Ichabod Crane action figure is the first figure ever in the likeness of Johnny Depp.
