The McFarlane Collection

The McFarlane Collection - which contains Mark McGwire's $3 million 70th home run baseball as well as nine other McGwire-Sammy Sosa balls from the 1998 season - and Todd himself will be at ESPN Zone in Washington DC to celebrate ALS Advocacy Day.

The Collection will be at ESPN Zone, a 41,000-square-foot sports and entertainment complex at 555 12th Street NW (corner of 11th and E streets NW), from Thursday, May 18 until Sunday, May 21. Todd will be in town May 18th only.

At 8 p.m. Thursday Todd and the Collection will be together at ESPN Zone to celebrate the kickoff of Lou's Team, an active sports council made up of athletes and celebrities honoring Lou Gehrig and increasing public awareness of ALS or Lou Gehrig's disease.

Other personalities scheduled to appear include Carolina Panthers quarterback Steve Beuerlein; ESPN's Dick Schaap; baseball stars Terry Steinbach and Steve Garvey; New Jersey Nets player Jayson Williams; NBA coach Don Casey; UCLA assistant coach Gary Bernardi; and actor Blair Underwood.

Fans are urged to come see the Collection, meet Todd and show their support in the fight against ALS. For more information about ESPN Zone, call (202) 783-ESPN.
