Friday, December 05, 2008

Every kid deserves a new toy this holiday season!

McFarlane Toys has partnered with the Salvation Army's Christmas Angel Program and the Pacific Lodge Boys' Home for a special Guitar Hero holiday promotion.

"I feel it's an important opportunity to do something for our community in these hard economic times," says McFarlane Toys CEO, Todd McFarlane. "This last push before the holidays will give us the opportunity to help kids who would otherwise go without."

HELP KIDS THROUGH ARIZONA SALVATION ARMY
Beginning Saturday, Dec. 6 through Saturday, Dec. 20, McFarlane Toys will donate 1 toy to the Salvation Army's Christmas Angel Program for every purchase of any 4 Guitar Hero action figures from the McFarlane Westgate store in Glendale, Ariz.

You can also and donate any McFarlane action figure or any new toy to the Salvation Army donation bin at our Westgate store. It's your chance to be a hero to Valley kids in need.

The Salvation Army along with Arizona's Family 3TV, offers new clothing and toys to children through the Christmas Angel Program. Without this program, many of these children would wake up on Christmas morning with little or nothing under the tree. During the 2007 holiday season, the Salvation Army and 3TV were able to touch the lives of 6,861 families, bringing Christmas joy and love to those who need it most. Over 25,000 children received gifts as a result of the Christmas Angel Program. For more information, go here.
