'ENDGAME' ART CONTEST UPDATE - FINALISTS CHOSEN
In honor of the new direction and creative team of Spawn #185, we launched an epic contest. The challenge: Show us your vision of the Al Simmons Spawn character, in the media of your choice.

We received hundreds of entries. It took us awhile and it wasn't easy, but we have narrowed it down to 25 finalists. Those finalists will be posted on our Spawn: Endgame Web site and our MySpace page on Wednesday, Oct. 1, at which point you, the people, will have the opportunity to voice your opinion (and you don't even have to register to vote). Details on the voting process to come.

The first place winner will receive an original full-body drawing of Spawn by world-renown comic artist Whilce Portacio. (The drawing originally slated for this prize was allocated by Todd for a future cover. Whilce has drawn an alternate version, which will now serve as first prize.) Second prize is an original Whilce Portacio Spawn head sketch.
