McFARLANE SPORTS FIGS GIVEN AWAY ON 'TONY DANZA SHOW'
Figure Giveaway Aired on Friday, April 1 National Broadcast
Friday, April 01, 2005

On Friday, April 1, an assortment of McFarlane Toys' 3-inch MLB Series 2 two-packs were given out to all audience members on The Tony Danza Show. This promotion is in conjunction with MLB's Opening Day festivities.

The Tony Danza Show is a national show that is broadcast on multiple networks, from ABC to UPN to NBC.

Perhaps best known for his sitcom personas, Danza is one of America's most popular performers. Having starred on some of television's most beloved and long-running series -- from Taxi to Who's the Boss -- Danza also has established himself as a stage and screen star, as well as a respected entertainer. And now he's entered the world of daytime television with The Tony Danza Show, a new talk show blending celebrity interviews, human-interest stories, cooking and audience participation. The show launched in Fall 2004 in national syndication.

In addition to the on-air product giveaway, since Tony is such a huge Yankees fan, Major League Baseball and McFarlane Toys are giving him a Don Mattingly 3-inch figure, signed by Mattingly and Todd. The figure is the Toy R Us exclusive that will be available only at Todd's signing at TRU in New York City on April 14.
