CHILLER THEATRE THIS WEEKEND IN NEW JERSEY
'Rue Morgue' Magazine to Give Away MM7 Figures
Friday, October 29, 2004
It's Halloween and you know what that means. No, not trick-or-treating and pumpkin smashing. Halloween means it's time for another Chiller Theatre, the biggest consumer horror memorabilia show in North America.
The event begins tonight, Friday, Oct. 29 from 6 to 11 p.m. at the Sheraton Meadowlands Hotel in East Rutherford, NJ. The show continues through the weekend, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
McFarlane Toys will be working with our partners Rue Morgue magazine, who will display several upcoming action figures at their booth, along with holding giveaways and other special events with Movie Maniacs Series 7 action figures as prizes. No McFarlane employees will staff this event.

In other cool Rue Morgue news, the magazine has launched its own in-house music label, Rue Morgue Records, with the flagship release of Nightmare Picture Theatre, an album of original music produced by Rue Morgue's President and Editor-in-Chief Rod Gudino. Composed and performed by Toronto musical prodigy James Fisher, Nightmare Picture Theatre presents 45 minutes of instrumental audio horror, tailored for Halloween events, haunted attractions and uneasy listening.
Rue Morgue also has a new radio station which streams live from its Web site, www.rue-morgue.com. The content is a spooky selection of macabre music mixed with the spine-tingling sounds of horror. You can download a new show each month, hosted by DJ Tomb Dragomir.
