New Designs Available Now; Win One Here
Friday, September 10, 2004
Early in 2004, we announced the partnership between Spawn and Sims Snowboards, one of the leading snowboarding brands in the country. There are five different boards in total -- with lengths (in centimeters) of 148, 153, 156, 159 and 163 in the Sedition series -- three featuring Spawn comic book artwork and two featuring Spawn action figure artwork.
The Spawn board graphics -- designed by Todd McFarlane and Scott Clum of Ride Design Studios using TMP artwork -- are outstanding in detail and quality. The images are at least 18-20 inches tall on the board with the bottom side featuring a distinctive bat motif laid into the plastic.
The Sedition lurks in the shadows, roaming the Earth's surface from the depths of hell, created to enforce moral righteousness on the scourge of the Earth. Unleashed in March 2004, the Sedition series laid graphite justice on snowboard parks across the globe. A pure Park Focus series, the Sedition is designed to withstand continued abuse, as well as return the favor. The Sedition features a true wood core, B32 laminated fiberglass, L2 carbon/kevlar stringer support, a radial side cut, concave side walls and a graphite sintered base. The new Sims Sedition McFarlane board are available in shops now and retail for less than $400.
