A coldly historic hockey game took place on Nov. 22, 2003, and McFarlane Toys has chosen to commemorate it in plastic. The Heritage Classic -- an outdoor regular NHL season game in --18C temperatures -- was played at Commonwealth Stadium in Edmonton featuring the Oilers and Canadiens.

The Montreal team took away a 4-3 victory in front of nearly 60,000 screaming (and freezing) fans.

As a way to relive that special event, we've decided to release a special NHL Heritage Classic deluxe boxed set. This two-pack will feature:

The box will include both the Smith and Theodore figures, bases and all equipment. It will be available at mass retail in the U.S. and selected retailers in Canada in early December.
