Second Iron Maiden Mascot Figure Shipping
Friday, September 13, 2002

Iron Maiden fans went nuts over our first Eddie action figure - from Killers - released in January 2002. It became one of McFarlane Toys' hottest-selling music figures of all time.

With such a variety of exceptional Eddie artwork to choose from - he's graced the covers of more than a dozen Iron Maiden albums - we had a tough time choosing the concept for the second figure. We finally decided on the instantly recognizable art from The Trooper single from Maiden's Piece of Mind album.

Eddie the Trooper action figure stands 5 5/8 inches tall in his hunched-over position. He features 10 points of articulation (neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, waist, ankles). Eddie also includes a bloody sword with scabbard, a tattered Union Jack flag and a full custom Iron Maiden base to stand on.

Eddie is dressed in a British military look, with a torn red tunic, blue pants with red pinstripes, boots and a full regalia of belts and a backpack. His sneering countenance and soulless white eyes perfectly re-create the artwork of The Trooper single.
