Burgundy and gold will invade Canton, Ohio this August, and McFarlane Toys will be there to sing, "Hail to the Redskins." The ’skins have a pair of their all-time greats (Darrell Green and Art Monk) being enshrined into the Pro Football Hall of Fame on Saturday, Aug. 2, as well as a player who served as an assistant coach for Washington from 1986-1994 (Emmitt Thomas). The 2008 Redskins will kick off the new NFL pre-season on Sunday, Aug. 3 in Canton’s "Hall of Fame Game" versus the Indianapolis Colts.
To salute the Redskins faithful, McFarlane Toys will be offering a special re-paint of our John Riggins figure from NFL Legends 4 at the event. We’ll bring these limited-edition figures to Canton to offer the invading Washington fans.
