ActionMcFarlane is proud to announce the lineup for its fourth series of NASCAR driver action figures. This new edition to our NASCAR products features five of the top drivers from the inaugural "Chase for the Nextel Cup" in addition to a driving legend and the circuit's hottest rookie.

Look for these highly detailed and strikingly accurate action figures to arrive in stores in February 2005. Series 4 includes these drivers:

  • Ryan Newman -- The #12 Alltel car has suffered a string of disappointing finishes recently, but put together a strong season that initially qualified the team for the "chase for the Nextel Cup." Newman's intensity is clearly evident in qualifying, as no driver has earned more pole positions this season.
  • Kasey Kahne -- NASCAR's top rookie has earned the respect of the fans and his fellow drivers in his first year at racing's highest level. Kahne put together the kind of season that's tough to ignore -- especially when most drivers were looking at the back of his car all season. Ten top five finishes don't lie...
  • Jeff Gordon -- Gordon can add a fifth championship to his mantle with a strong finish to the season. The #24 car sits in third place in the standings, though Gordon's five victories this season are tied for the most of any driver on the circuit.
  • Jimmie Johnson -- Johnson has fallen to eighth place in the Chase standings, but cemented his legacy in Charlotte by becoming the first driver since Dale Earnhardt in 1986 to sweep the season series at Lowe's Motor Speedway.
  • Elliott Sadler -- A disappointing finish in Charlotte has Elliot Sadler's #38 car in fourth place heading into Sunday's race. A pair of victories this season helped catapult the M&Ms car into the "Chase for the Nextel Cup."
  • Dale Earnhardt Jr. -- It's been a trying season for NASCAR's crown prince, but despite crashes, a dangerous fire and points-stripping from the league itself, Jr. has himself in the hunt for his first NASCAR championship. The Budweiser Chevrolet sits just 24 points off the pace with five races left on the schedule.
  • Rusty Wallace -- One of NASCAR's most beloved veteran drivers is close to finishing his own race. Rusty Wallace will make 2005 his final season on the circuit, his "Last Call" coming after winning the Rookie of the Year award in 1984, the NASCAR championship in 1989 and 54 races during his career.
In addition to the series four figures, our NASCAR collectors can look for ActionMcFarlane's first two 12-inch figures soon. Jeff Gordon will be the first driver represented at that scale (coming in December 2004) with Kasey Kahne arriving in stores a few weeks later.
