The feature films that inspired two of McFarlane Toys' exclusive lines are raking in the nominations and awards this season. Tim Burton's Corpse Bride and Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-rabbit are in the running for the Oscar for Best Animated Feature and will duke it out Sunday, March 5.

But that's not all -- not even close. On Saturday, Feb. 4, the 33rd Annual Annie Awards, presented by the International Animated Film Society, honored the year's finest in film, television, short subjects and gaming.

The big winner was Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-rabbit, picking up a whopping 10 awards (out of 16 total nominations):

  • Best Animated Feature
  • Animated Effects
  • Character Animation
  • Character Design in an Animated Feature Production
  • Directing in an Animated Feature Production
  • Music in an Animated Feature Production
  • Production Design in an Animated Feature Production
  • Storyboarding in an Animated Feature Production
  • Voice Acting in an Animated Feature Production
  • Writing in an Animated Feature Production
Corpse Bride took home the UbIwerks Award for Technical Achievement, and was also nominated for Best Animated Feature, Best Character Design and Best Directing.

Both films have won the hearts of millions, and McFarlane Toys is proud to have the exclusive licenses to both Corpse Bride and Wallace & Gromit. In true McFarlane style, we've captured the characters with amazing detail.
