The year 2000 was Spawn.com's inaugural year of live event coverage of Toy Fair, the annual toy trade show in New York. This year we're stepping it up a notch with the most complete McFarlane Toys coverage you'll find anywhere on the Web.

Beginning the morning of Monday, Feb. 12, the Toy Fair section of Spawn.com will go live. Highlights will include a complete online catalog showing all our action figure lines for 2001, a temporary Message Board, a virtual tour of our New York City showroom, areas to vote for your favorite figures, virtual reality object movies of key figures from our most prominent toy lines and live reports from the showroom.

We'll also be featuring special events coverage, including the big Shrek press conference with Mike Myers and DreamWorks head Jeffrey Katzenberg, and a special appearance by Clive Barker to promote the incredible new Clive Barker's Tortured Souls action figures.

The virtual tour of McFarlane Toys' infamous Manhattan showroom lets you see the entire layout without having to fight the crowds.

The real centerpiece of our Toy Fair extravaganza, though, is the online catalog. Here you'll find more than 200 pages dedicated to McFarlane Toys' entire 2001 action figure lineup.

This year's catalog is much more ambitious, with more pictures and bigger pictures of each toy.

The online catalog will allow you to browse through our upcoming lines, read a little about each and view several photos of each figure. More detailed stories and photos on each line will be available on Spawn.com as the release of that particular line draws closer.

Come on back to Spawn.com on Feb. 12, no standing in line, no jostling, no crowds, all toys. We've definitely got some surprises in store. In the meantime, enjoy these photos from Toy Fair 2000.
