McFarlane Toys has several exclusive figures coming out this year, based on characters previously released. As an aside, the term "fish tank" is growing among collectors and is a euphemism for our eight-sided display cases.

A re-release of the exclusive and wildly popular Danger Girls figures, based on the characters from J. Scott Campbell's comic book series. Originally released in 1999 by McFarlane Toys, these three voluptuous-but-deadly ladies have a brand-new sculpted base and will be available in a collector's fish tank.

Abbey Chase is 6 3/8 inches tall with eight points of articulation and a pistol.
Sydney Savage is 6 9/16 inches tall with eight points of articulation and a whip.
Natalia Kassle is 6 5/8 inches tall with 10 points of articulation, three knives and a real fishnet shirt.

This new Danger Girl trio is exclusive to the following retailers: Virgin Entertainment, Diamond Comics, Musicland, Fandom and TNC Universe, with several other retailers pending. Look for these dangerous ladies in early November.

The Crow, creator James O'Barr's revenge-seeking gothic hero from comic books, novels and film, was one of the most popular characters in the second line of Movie Maniacs action figures from McFarlane Toys. Now he's being re-released with an entirely new diorama and packaged in a collector's fish tank. The Crow is 6 3/4 inches tall with seven points of articulation and comes with a companion crow that perches on his shoulder and a guitar.

This new Crow figure is exclusive to the following retailers: Tower Records, Virgin Entertainment, Diamond Comics, Musicland, Fandom and TNC Universe, with several other retailers pending. Look for him in early November.

One of the most beautiful, incredibly detailed and painted figures ever released by McFarlane Toys is getting a new look. Mandarin Spawn, winner of ToyFare magazine's Best Paint Application award, is now available as a Toys R Us exclusive. The new figure, originally released in Spawn Series 14: The Dark Ages 2, is now 12 inches tall with a new teal blue and burnt orange paint scheme. It has eight articulation points and comes with an arm-mounted shield, a 19-inch two-piece sword and two other hip-mounted swords. Only available at Toys R Us in October.

Another massive Crow figure will be flying into Toys R Us, looking for vengeance. That's right, McFarlane Toys' popular Crow figures from the Movie Maniacs 2line has been redesigned at a massive 12 inches tall. The avenging angel has seven points of articulation, and comes with a guitar and a companion crow perched on his shoulder. This new 12-inch Crow is exclusive for Toys R Us and is only available there in October.

In other action figure news, McFarlane Toys has tweaked some release dates, as follows: NHLPA Series 1 has been moved to September; 18-inch Mini Me in Spacesuit has been moved to September; Where the Wild Things Are has been moved to October; 18-inch Movie Maniacs (Freddy Krueger and Michael Myers) has been moved to September; KISS Alive has been moved to September; and Beatles Yellow Submarine Series 2 has been moved into October.
