Returns and Exchanges

30-DAY RETURN/EXCHANGE POLICY FOR PRODUCT PURCHASED ON McFARLANE TOYS E-COMMERCE (PRODUCT GUARANTEE)

McFarlane Toys e-Commerce guarantees your complete satisfaction with every figure you buy directly through our online store, within 30 days of original purchase.

Returns and Exchanges General Information
If you are not completely satisfied with your McFarlane Toys e-Commerce online purchase, you may return your purchase for replacement or refund of the purchase price (in U.S. dollars), within 30 days of receipt of the item.

If an item is being returned the purchaser will be responsible for all shipping charges, including charges for returning item(s) to us. Refunds will be for the purchase price minus any applicable shipping charges.

Products must be returned in original packaging and in the same condition in which they were received. In other words, the item must be returned intact with figures, accessories, bases, original packaging and outer shipment box. WE STRONGLY SUGGEST THAT YOU CAREFULLY OPEN AND INSPECT ALL MERCHANDISE UPON RECEIPT IN ORDER TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THIS POLICY.

Returned items that arrive at the McFarlane Toys e-commerce warehouse with excessive damage due to improper return packaging will be assessed a damage fee of up to 10% of the product's price.

Condition of Packaging
McFarlane Toys' e-commerce does NOT guarantee mint condition packaging for non-exclusive toys. McFarlane Toys e-commerce ships the same quality product that can be found in retail stores. We cannot be responsible for minor creases, scratches, dents, or other superficial imperfections to the packaging. If you desire "mint" packaging, you should purchase our products through a retailer where the product can be inspected before buying. If you believe your figure was damaged during shipping, please review our return policy, above.

Mint condition packaging is NOT guaranteed for non-exclusive figures.

Returns On McFarlane Items Not Purchased From McFarlane Toys E-Commerce
We do not accept returns or exchanges for product purchased at other retailers -- you must return the product to the place of original purchase.

Returns Due To McFarlane Toys E-Commerce Error
McFarlane Toys e-Commerce will pay for return shipping costs if an exchange or return is the result of an error on our part, i.e., defective/damaged items or an error in filling an order.

Refunds On Product From Other Retailers
We do not accept returns or exchanges for product purchased at other retailers -- you must return the product to the place of purchase.

Replacement Of Damaged/Returned Items
Due to the limited-edition nature of McFarlane products, we cannot guarantee that all items can be replaced at the time of return, or that damaged specific limited-edition numbers can be replaced with the same number. In that event, we will offer a full refund of the purchase price (in U.S. dollars).

Returns On International Orders
International returns due to damaged or defective merchandise purchased from McFarlane Toys e-commerce will be handled on a case-by-case basis. Please contact Customer Service for further assistance.

Credit Card Transactions and Refunds

McFarlane Toys e-Commerce will charge your credit card for your order when the order is shipped to you.

Online Store/Credit Card Security

PLEASE NOTE: For fraud protection, the credit card provided in the user account for all online transactions must belong to the user account holder.

Credit Card Refunds
In the event that a credit card refund is required, McFarlane Toys e-Commerce will credit the original purchase price in U.S. dollars (plus shipping, when appropriate) to the original customer's registered credit card.

McFarlane Toys e-Commerce will credit a customer's banking institution within 7 to10 business days of receiving the returned merchandise at our warehouse, during normal business hours, Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm MST.

Credit card companies may sometimes take an additional 7 to 21 days to reflect a credit to a customer's account. If McFarlane Toys e-Commerce has confirmed a refund to your credit card account but the credited amount has not registered in the account, we recommend contacting your credit card company directly for more information.

Additional Fees Due To Inaccurate Shipping Address Information Or Late Cancellation
It is the customer's responsibility to maintain up-to-date billing information for their online accounts, including all pre-orders and waiting list orders. The customer is also responsible for canceling all unwanted orders or waiting list reservations before those orders are shipped from our warehouse.

The customer will be responsible for any and ALL shipping and return shipping costs for any packages shipped incorrectly due to late cancellation of the order, or incorrect shipping information.

If your order is returned to our warehouse due to incorrect shipping information and you wish it to be re-shipped to you, you will be responsible for any additional nal shipping fees. If the order can be rerouted in transit to the correct address, you will be responsible for a re-direct fee of $10 per order, which is the amount our shipping company charges us. Any shipment requiring a signature upon receipt cannot be rerouted once in transit. PLEASE NOTE: Rerouting services are not available on deliveries outside of the United States.

Overdraft/Over-Limit Fees and Exchange Rates
McFarlane Toys e-Commerce is not responsible for any overdraft or over-limit fees that may result on a customer's credit card account due to delayed, misdirected or returned "Item Arrival" or "Processing Notification" emails.

McFarlane Toys e-Commerce will not refund any differences in exchange rates from date of original purchase to the time of refund, nor shall we be responsible for reimbursing any conversion fees charged to the customer by their banking institution.

Updating Your Address Information
It is essential that you provide us with your correct email address for all orders. Prior to pre-order items being made available for order, we will contact you via email through our e-newsletter. This e-newsletter announces items scheduled to arrive within 30 days, as well as those scheduled to ship during that current week. These advance notifications should give pre-order customers sufficient time to update any order information online prior to shipment. If your order is in the process of being charged and shipped, our online store may block you from updating your account information, and may display a message to contact us immediately. You may make any necessary updates by calling (888) 997-7296 or e-mailing Customer Service. McFarlane Toys e-Commerce will not be responsible for any fees accrued from orders shipped incorrectly due to outdated or incorrect shipping information.

Shipping Information

Shipping Costs
Shipping costs vary based on how much is ordered, as well as your zip code. The cost is calculated automatically during the checkout process in our online store. The online store also includes a Shipping Cost Estimator, located in your shopping cart. This will give you an estimated shipping cost at any time before your order is completed. The estimator can vary from the final charges you incur.

Shipping Costs For International Orders
McFarlane Toys e-Commerce ships worldwide, with the exception of only a few countries. If your country does NOT appear in the country drop-down list during checkout, then we do not ship to your country. Examples of countries we currently do NOT ship to include: Mexico, Indonesia, Singapore and some South American countries.

Orders placed outside the United States may require additional costs for customs duties and taxes (aka brokerage fees). You are responsible for any additional charges incurred after your order has shipped. To get more information on duties and taxes in your country, you may contact UPS at 800-742-5877, or visit www.ups.com for more information.

Delivery Time For In-Stock Items
Orders placed for in-stock items during McFarlane Toys e-Commerce regular business hours (Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm MST) will be charged to the customer's credit card upon order shipment. Although most items will arrive about two weeks after your order is placed, please allow up to four weeks for delivery.

Pre-Ordering

Most McFarlane Toys e-commerce product generally is NOT available for pre-order. However, a select few exclusive items throughout the year WILL be available for pre-order. These offerings will be clearly designated as pre-order items.

Pre-Order Definition
A pre-order is a contract to acquire an item before it is available in stores. McFarlane Toys e-commerce will be offering a select few items throughout the year for pre-order for the benefit of our shoppers to ensure pre-release items are obtainable and affordable.

Reason To Pre-Order
Items offered for pre-order are typically limited runs of a particular product, and the only availability for the particular product will be through a pre-order or to be placed on a waiting list for that particular product.

Pre-Order Payment
When the pre-ordered merchandise is ready to begin shipping to customers, an email will be sent out requesting you to return to McFarlane Toys e-commerce and place an order for your item(s), at which time payment will be authorized for your order. When the product ships from our fulfillment center, the credit card number used to place your order will be billed.

Accepted Credit Cards
We accept payment for pre-orders by credit card only at time of shipping. We accept VISA, Master Card, American Express and Discover.

Modifying Or Canceling Your Pre-Order
If you request for your pre-ordered product to be cancelled or removed from your order after pre-order confirmation is taken, you will be subject to a 15% restocking fee. If your order has already shipped you will be responsible for the restocking fee, originating shipping cost and any shipping fees incurred from return shipments, call tags and/or intercept fees as stated in our shipping information.

If you need to make changes to your shipping or billing information, please do so before your order ships to avoid any additional shipping charges.

You can, as an alternative to being charged a restocking fee, immediately request to transfer the 15% fee to pay for another existing pre-order or a new order. This will apply for restocking fees only; shipping fees will not be refunded or transferred. You can change or cancel your pre-order by contacting us via email, or via phone at 1.888.997.7296. Please specify in detail any and all changes needed to be made.

Modifying Your Shipping Address
Shipping or billing information can be adjusted or changed without penalty any time before your order ships. You are responsible for providing correct shipping information; if you change shipping information after your order has shipped, you will be charged an additional $10 UPS intercept fee. If your order is returned due to incorrectly provided shipping information, you will be charged to reship your order if you elect to have the item reshipped to you. You can change your shipping or billing address by contacting us via email, or via phone at 1.888.997.7296, please specify in detail any and all changes needed to be made.

Receiving Your Items
We cannot guarantee that you will receive your order "early." Unexpected delays can happen, especially when dealing with foreign product and high demand.

Waiting List Reservation System

McFarlane Toys E-Commerce Waiting List Reservation Program Terms & Conditions
In order to participate in McFarlane Toys' Collector's Club waiting list reservation program, participants must understand and agree that placement on a waiting list does not guarantee an order, and that a reservation can only be fulfilled if and when sold-out items are returned to McFarlane Toys e-commerce inventory due to order cancellations, credit card rejections, warehouse inventory adjustments and other reasons. Waiting lists can remain active for any length of time and may be closed by McFarlane Toys e-commerce at any time with or without advance notice to participants. By creating a waiting list for a particular item, McFarlane Toys e-commerce makes no claim or implication that the item may become available, that a Collector's Club member on the waiting list will receive the product, or that orders on the waiting list will be filled in any matter other than at McFarlane Toys e-commerce's discretion.

If McFarlane Toys e-commerce ships a Collector's Club waiting-list item to a Club member prior to that member's reservation cancellation, the item may be returned, but the member will be responsible for all shipping fees -- both the cost of sending the item to the member and cost of returning the item to McFarlane Toys e-commerce.

Because McFarlane Toys' products are limited editions, and because waiting-list items are available in very limited quantities, McFarlane Toys e-commerce may not be able to replace an item that arrives damaged. In this event, McFarlane Toys e-commerce will require the return of the damaged item, and will fully refund the Collector's Club member's charges in accordance with the McFarlane Toys e-commerce 30-day return policy.

The Collector's Club Waiting List Program relies on the manual tracking of extremely limited quantities within McFarlane Toys e-commerce's vast inventory. Thus, a notice of fulfillment may be recalled due to discrepancies in inventory or other factors. In this instance, McFarlane Toys e-commerce customer service representatives will notify Club members by email within a few days of the original notice. McFarlane Toys e-commerce will not be held responsible for guaranteeing availability of any product to Collector's Club members at any time, even if a waiting-list reservation has been converted to an order. McFarlane Toys e-commerce will not compensate a Collector's Club member in any way (i.e., with products, rewards, credits or monetary payments) for any error occurring within the Collector's Club program.

At any time, McFarlane Toys e-commerce may change the rules, benefits and/or conditions of participation of the Waiting List Program, or suspend, modify or terminate the program without obligation to its participants. McFarlane Toys e-commerce reserves the right to apply the policies and procedures expressed in these terms and conditions. All decisions made by McFarlane Toys e-commerce will be final in each case. These terms and conditions replace all previously published terms and conditions.

Waiting List Definition
The waiting list is available for Collector's Club exclusive figures ONLY. Because our action figures are, in fact, limited editions, many lines can sell out even before they reach our warehouse. However, some items may become available at the time of shipping due to inventory discrepancies, canceled orders, declined credit cards, etc. These items are then offered to individuals on our waiting list for that product. A waiting list reservation is not an official order, and can only be fulfilled if and when an item becomes available.

Upon submitting their reservation for a waiting list, customers will be bound by the complete McFarlane Toys e-commerce terms and conditions, and should review these terms and conditions prior to completing a reservation.

When you submit a waiting list reservation, you agree to the following:

  1. A waiting list reservation does not guarantee an order. Reservations can only be fulfilled if sold-out items become available in our inventory.
  2. You will be notified by email if an item you are wait-listed for becomes available. (Please make sure we have your current email address.) You will then have 48 hours to complete your purchase, after which time your placement on the waiting list will be forfeited.
  3. Waiting list reservation fulfillment is not dependent upon customer notification. Although McFarlane Toys e-commerce will send an authorized courtesy email notification, we are not responsible if you, for any reason, do not receive it.
  4. If you decide to cancel your order, it is your responsibility to cancel your waiting list reservation prior to shipment. It is in your best interest to review your reservations frequently and make sure they are up-to-date. If an item is shipped to you due to late cancellation or your failure to cancel, you will be responsible for all shipping fees.
  5. You have read and understand the entire list of terms and conditions as detailed on this page.
It is the customer's responsibility to provide a current email address for all waiting lists.

Making a Waiting List Reservation
Click on any of the pre-order items. If all pre-order reservations have been filled, you will see a WAITING LIST option. Simply click on the waiting list link; an email will pop up with the waiting-list item you would like already in the subject line. There is no need to enter any information in the body of the email. Simply send the email and your information will be queued. Reservations are queued in the order they are received.

Additionally, you may send an email to pre-order [at] mcfarlane [dot] com with the waiting list item you would like in the subject line. Send the email and your information will be queued. Reservations are queued in the order they are received.

Due to the high volume of waiting list reservations we receive, we cannot tell you where you stand on any waiting list. Fulfillment depends on the quantity of items that become available; your placement on a waiting list does not indicate that you will ultimately receive that item.
